Provisional Issuance of CUET Admit Card
The CUET Admit Card will be issued provisionally, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility conditions and receipt of the prescribed application fee by the NTA. This means that only those candidates who have successfully completed the application process and paid the required fee will be able to download their admit cards.
Candidates should note that the issuance of the admit card does not automatically confirm final eligibility. The NTA reserves the right to verify eligibility conditions at any stage of the admission process.
How to Download CUET Admit Card
The admit card will be made available exclusively on the official NTA website. Candidates must download the CUET Admit Card from https://cuet.nta.nic.in once it is released.
The date for downloading the admit card will be announced on the NTA website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal for updates regarding the release date.
After downloading the admit card, candidates must carefully verify all the details mentioned on it, including:
- Candidate’s name
- Examination centre details
- Date of examination
- Shift and timing of the examination
- Photograph and signature
It is essential to ensure that all information is accurate before appearing for the examination.
Examination Centre, Date, and Shift Details
Candidates must appear for the examination strictly at the centre allotted to them and on the date and shift mentioned in their admit card. No candidate will be permitted to appear at any other examination centre, date, or time other than the one assigned.
Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed without the admit card. Therefore, candidates must carry the downloaded admit card to the examination centre on the day of the exam.
In Case of Difficulty in Downloading the Admit Card
If a candidate is unable to download the CUET Admit Card from the website, they should immediately contact the NTA Help Line at 011-40759000. The helpline is available between 10:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Prompt communication with the NTA helpline can help resolve technical or access-related issues before the examination date.
Discrepancies in Admit Card Details
In case there is any discrepancy in the candidate’s particulars, photograph, or signature as shown on the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate must immediately approach the NTA Help Line between 10:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Even if there is a discrepancy, the candidate should appear in the examination using the already downloaded admit card. The NTA will take necessary action to correct the details in its records at a later stage.
Candidates are strongly advised not to ignore any mismatches in personal details, as accurate records are essential for future admission processes.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates must carefully read all instructions mentioned on the admit card and strictly follow them during the examination. These instructions may include reporting time, examination guidelines, and other essential directions that must be adhered to on the exam day.

CUET Examination Rules
- Any candidate reporting at the centre after the gate closing time will not be permitted to appear for the Examination and any act of forceful entry or any representation/argument with the exam functionaries will lead to consideration of the act by the candidate as UFM.
- The Candidates may please note that Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
- In no case, the duplicate Admit Card for Common University Entrance Test (UG) – 2026 be issued at the Examination Centres.
- The candidates must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein. Any intentional act to bring in any change or tampering of the Admit Card, if noticed, will be considered as UFM.
- Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good condition for future reference.
- No Admit Card shall be issued to the candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete for any reason (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for the examination.
- The issue of Admit Cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility, which shall be further scrutinised at subsequent stages of the admission process by the University/Institution.
- The candidates are advised to check their registered Email ID’s regularly and reply to any clarification sought by NTA during the entire cycle of the examination.
Examination Hall Rules
Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
- Printed copy of the Admit card along with the Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper), duly filled in.
- A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
- An additional photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet in the Examination Room/ Hall.
- Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid, and non-expired) – School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
- PwD/PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category.
- Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.
In simpler words, students can carry limited items into the examination hall. They must carry a printed admit card with self-declaration, a transparent ballpoint pen, and an additional photograph. They must bring one valid original photo ID. PwD/PwBD candidates should carry their certificates. Diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets or fruits like banana, apple, orange.
